Innovation Film Festival in Deauville

Sustainable developments and new green technologies are among the innovations that will be presented at the new film festival Made in Corporate in Deauville on September 21 and 22. Located at the prestigious Deauville International Centre (CID), the Innovation Film Festival will bring together industry leaders, scientific experts, public representatives along with clients and professionals of corporate and audiovisual communication.

 

Jean-Charles Kopie“Innovation encompasses not only the notions of technology and economic performance”, says Jean-Charles Pentecouteau,  Associate Director, Made in Corporate. ”Innovation also transforms the concepts, the organisation and the practices of the economic and academic sector, and is a part of an open and collaborative involvement of the entire civil society.” Therefore it is necessary to demonstrate to economic actors that sustainable development is today at once a competitive advantage in business, and a  strategic tool for international  positioning.

 

Supported by the French government’s Commission 2030, Made in Corporate will present over 200 audiovisual and digital works from across Europe. Divided into the sections Brand – Advertising & Awareness and Corporate -
 Corporate Communication & Institutional the festival will showcase films that illustrate real innovations carried out by businesses, organizations and institutions. The 14 different categories include Innovation in Tourism such as virtual tours, augmented reality as well as eco-tourism, and Digital Tranformation such as big data, 3D printing and cyber-physical systems. A special focus will be on eco-innovations such as Sustainable Producing and Consumption, Energy Transition and Virtual Reality.

 

The festival welcomes applications from communication agencies, producers and directors, marketing and communication professionals from corporate companies, public administrations, associations and organizations. All films and materials must be submitted until August 25. More details can be found in the competition regulations. The tropies at Made in Corporate include the Grand Prix, Gold, Silver and some Special Awards. The jury is headed by Claudie Haigneré, the first French woman in space and former Minister of Research and European Affairs. She will preside over journalists and communication managers, directors and scientists, entrepreneurs and institutional representatives.

 

IMG_1417_1 (2)At  Made in Corporate there is also the MIC Lab which will offer an immersion into business and institution innovation news through audiovisual materials, conferences, workshops and demos. Professionals who want to demonstrate their solutions, can exhibit them at the Innovation Market Place. “With this new communication event for business innovation, we want to showcase a bold Europe", sums up Cyril Point, Associate Director, Made in Corporate. "A source of inspiration with a strong incentive to promote change and open a new window on the initiatives of businesses and institutions Europe wide.”
