Green goes global

For the first time, green production will be an issue at the AFCI (Association of Film Commissions) Global Production & Finance Conference that kicks off in Los Angeles today. The panel discussion Sustainable Production: Think Global, Act Local will focus on best practices, incentives and engagement at the local level but also how this can strengthen the sustainable production movement globally.

 

 

Emellie O’Brien, Founder & President of New York-based Earth Angel and Lisa Day  Director, Energy Initiative, 
20th Century Fox, will take about best practices can be incorporated into the production process in order to reduce negative environmental impacts. Julie Bernard, Manager, Production Services Creative BC, is going to share her experiences how to engage positively with the community while Matthew Carlisle EVP, Physical Production
, Paramount Television, and Mike Slavich, Director, Sustainability, Warner Bros. Entertainment, will talk about how it is possible to align this measures with the overall production budget.

 

 

 

 
Moderated by Zena Harris, President Green Spark Group, The Think Global, Act Local panel will take place on April 7th from 2:45pm to 3:45 pm at the Marriott Burbank. The attendance of the event requires a registration at the AFCI Global Production & Finance Conference.
