Described as <em>An Inconvenient Truth<\/em> meets <em>Boyhood<\/em>, the film follows the rise of the global youth climate movement. &quot;I\u2019ve been to youth conferences in Slovakia, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, New York and Japan. I\u2019ve traveled to agricultural communities in Nepal, South America and Northern Alberta. When you follow the story of climate change, you follow the story of how our world is changing and of how we, as people, are changing&quot;, says Slater Jewell-Kemker . &quot;It\u2019s a global issue. Sometimes it affects one nation more than others, but eventually we\u2019re all going to be affected.&quot;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\">During the COP21 she keeps filming. On November 30, Slater Jewell-Kemker went to the Place de la R\u00e9publique in Paris where thousands of people placed their shoes as a symbol on the ground because the\u00a0 climate march has been cancelled due to security reasons. &#8220;It really spoke to us, as a representation of the silent majority&#8221;, underlines the filmmaker. &#8220;Even if not everyone speaks their voice, we know that vast majority of people care for this planet and wants to make it a better place.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/147324887\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The introduction of <em>An Inconvenient Youth<\/em> by Slater Jewell-Kemker will be followed by a panel discussion on Film &amp; Creativity for the Climate Movement. Besides the young filmmaker, the participants includes <em>City of God<\/em> director Fernando Mereilles, Bianca Jagger,\u00a0 <a href=\"http:\/\/www.greenpeace.org\/\">Greenpeace <\/a>Director Kumi Naidoo and Lucia Grenna, Program Manager, Connect4Climate.
