Beautiful images of our shared natural world were projected onto the facade of St. Peter\u2019s Basilica in order to inspire change around the climate crisis across generations, cultures and, languages.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The cinematic event featured the work of some of the world\u2019s most notable humanistic and nature photographers and filmmakers including Sebasti\u00e3o Salgado (Genesi and Contrasto), Joel Sartore (National Geographic Photo Ark), Yann Arthus Bertrand (Human), David Doubilet, Ron Fricke and Mark Magidson (Samsara), Howard Hall, Shawn Heinrichs, Greg Huglin, Chris Jordan, Steve McCurry, Paul Nicklen and Louie Schwartzberg.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Wrkkyw1D7KA\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Organized by the World Bank Group\u2019s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.connect4climate.org\/\">Connect4Climate<\/a> initiative, Paul G. Allen\u2019s Vulcan Inc., the Li Ka Shing Foundation and Okeanos, in partnership with The Oceanic Preservation Society and Obscura Digital, the large-scale architectural public art installation was inspired by the themes of climate change, human dignity and the earth\u2019s living creatures in the Encyclical \u201cLaudato Si\u2019\u201d of Pope Francis.
