Funded by Creative Skillset, the Greenshoot platform will help productions save money by cutting carbon, reducing waste and donating no-longer-needed props, sets and costumes to schools and charities rather than sending to landfill. This green model has been successfully tested with several productions such us <em>The Crown<\/em> (Netflix), <em>Free Fire<\/em> (Rook Films) and <em>City of Tiny Lights<\/em> (BBC Films).<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Greenshoot scheme provides Film\/ TV productions with a step-by-step guide to green their business from scratch to wrap. At the website, productions find a resource guides as well as simple tips for each department how to reduce catering food waste and to recycle on-set. In the end, each production needs to submit tits data in order to receive a \u2018green audit\u2019. British production company Left Bank Pictures already announced to go green with their television productions. Film London plans to establishing the green program in the 33 London boroughs.
