The filmmakers are asked to come up with ideas for a documentary that can inspire people with positive examples how they can reduce their carbon footprint. The role of consumers and changing patterns of consumption are an issue as well as the contribution of science and technology in achieving change. Another key question is which action steps can governments and businesses such as the energy sector take to limit the increase in global temperatures.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<br \/>\nThe closing date for<a href=\"https:\/\/sheffdocfest.com\/articles\/365-international-broadcasting-trust-climate-change-pitch\"> applications<\/a> is March 31. The pitch will take place at Sheffield Doc\/Fest between June 10 to 15.
