In total, there were\u00a0 320 contributions in 14 different categories to discover ranging\u00a0 from subjects like energy efficiency over eco-tourism and environmentalism up to\u00a0 overageing of our society.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/de\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/06\/Morgant-Pessis.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright wp-image-2511\" src=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/de\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/06\/Morgant-Pessis-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"Morgant-Pessis\" width=\"325\" height=\"244\" \/><\/a>\u201eDeauville is the place where sustainable solutions and ecology is discussed\u201d, states Georges Pessis, President Deauville Green Awards. \u201eThe films that we are showing here are the result of actions which have already been accomplished.\u201d Among these kind of contributions is a French ad about OWA, a new printer cartridge solution for laser printer which can be completely recyceled.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Grand Prix for the best awareness ad went to the <em>Regarde Moi<\/em> by Pierre Nogu\u00e9ras which was produced by the Association Laurette Fugain to sensibilize the public what it means for patients and their families to suffer of leukemia.<\/p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/JirDg7vmz9E\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>A Grand Prix was also awarded to British filmmaker Rodney Rascona for <em>Red Dirt Road<\/em> which is about a young woman in Cambodia who believes there is more to life than working so hard for so little, in the oppressive garment factories in Phnom Penh. \u201eWe have to create stories about people who are having a vision&quot;, says the filmmaker who spent one and a half years working on this\u00a0 project.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/de\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/06\/Ecprod-prize-winner.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-2512 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/de\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2016\/06\/Ecprod-prize-winner-300x231.jpg\" alt=\"Ecprod prize winner\" width=\"300\" height=\"231\" \/><\/a>The Special Award from <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2015\/01\/29\/the-french-connection\/\">Ecoprod<\/a> was given to the three-minute campaign film <em>Biocoop \u2013 La Campagne Eco responsable<\/em> by Jason Freites, who not only promotes sustainable behaviour for production but also acted in a green way behind the camera. \u201eThe production was sustainable in any way&quot;, reports Joanna Gallardo, Adviser of French consortium Ecoprod.
