Qarnot developed a green IT solution that makes it possible to heat homes and offices with firms&#8217; computation. Every machine creates heat as a waste\u201d, says Paul Benoit, CEO at Quarnot. \u201cWe have decided to use the\u00a0energy generated by the IT. &quot;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/150405010?title=0&amp;byline=0&amp;portrait=0\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Qarnot&#8217;s philosophy is to producce \u00a0heat in\u00a0homes and offices, directly\u00a0where it is useful.\u00a0Contrary to data centres, Qarnot&#8217;s decentralized and flexible infrastucture is\u00a0located close\u00a0to\u00a0the\u00a0users, thereby reducing latency.
