Under the title <em>Sustainability Reloaded<\/em> producers, directors, technical directors as well as film commissioners will share their experiences on how carbon footprints can be reduced in the studio, on set, and in post production.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It\u2018s possible to go green \u2013 no matter the format, location or budget. The New York-based producer and<a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/green-guidelines\/\"> PGA Green <\/a>member Lydia Dean Pilcher will give an insight in<a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2015\/11\/28\/the-tools-for-green-production\/\"><em> Queen of Katwe<\/em><\/a>, the first environmentally-friendly produced studio film in Uganda. <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2016\/02\/14\/ecologically-friendly-alternatives\/\">Ecoprod <\/a>Consulatant Joanna Gallardo will speak about the green post production and the carbon calculator which wea developed fpr animated film productions.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In Italy, film production is going green as well. In addition to the first sustainably-produced TV series, in Sardegna are also music videos with international pop stars produced in a green way, as Nevina Satta, CEO, <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2016\/02\/18\/local-heroes\/\">Sardegna Film Commission<\/a>, will point out. Meanwhile in Great Britain, the writer\/ director Maxim Jago is preparing his virtual reality film <em>Jolie\u2018s Garden<\/em> that will also follow the Best Practices.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Every production that is realized at the studio lot of <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2016\/02\/09\/the-green-road-to-success\/\">Bavaria Film <\/a>is already party green due to the fact that the stages are powered with renewable such us geothermal energyand water power. The Technical Director Thorsten Hoppe will explain the energy concept. The TV show <em>Verstehen Sie Spa\u00df?<\/em> that is produced at the Bavaria Film studios, has been aarded the <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2014\/02\/05\/green-consciousness-on-the-set\/\">Green Shooting Card <\/a>by the Filmf\u00f6rderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Project Manager Christiane Dopp who is giving out the green label to productions all over Germany will give an overview about the most recent green productions in Germany. Among the pioneers of green film production is the producer\/ director Carl A. Fechner, who is producing documentary film in a sustainable way since more than a decade. His most recent film is <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2016\/06\/13\/documentaries-are-going-green\/\"><em>Power to Change<\/em><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Due to the new <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2016\/05\/15\/green-news-from-cannes\/\">T-Green Film Rating System <\/a>in Trentino, productions are getting financial incentives if they go green. Luca Ferrario, Manager, Trentino Film Commission, will explain the system. Before the incentive system was launched last fall, the filmmaker Renzo Carbonera followed various Best Practices when shooting his first feature film <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2015\/10\/19\/going-green-is-a-matter-of-survival\/\"><em>Resina<\/em> <\/a>in Trentino where he was able to find all the locations in the same community. \u201eIt was not only convenient but also time- and cost-effective to have our locations and accommodations located nearby.
