Together with her\u00a0 film-funding team she&#8217;s keeping her fingers crossed for the Academy Awards ceremony in Los Angeles on March 4.\u00a0 The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.oscars.org\/news\/tag\/2018-oscars\">Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences<\/a> is going to announce the nominations for Oscars on\u00a0 January 23.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Supported by the FFHSH, the German-French co-production <em>In the Fade<\/em> was largely shot on location in Hamburg, and it was produced\u00a0 in an environmentally friendly manner. Green measures included daily inspirational messages on sustainability; digital call sheets that reduced paper usage: and regional cuisone from the catering department. Thanks to thermal cups, plastic waste on set was drastically reduced.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/de\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/01\/GG75_18751.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-4024\" src=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/de\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2018\/01\/GG75_18751-200x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a>Acknowledging the sustainable measures undertaken, the Film Commission Hamburg awarded <em>In the Fade<\/em> with a <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2014\/02\/05\/green-consciousness-on-the-set\/\">Green Shooting Card.<\/a> This political thriller was produced by Akin&#8217;s Hamburg-based production company bombero international in co-production with Warner Bros. Film Productions Germany, Macassar Productions, Path\u00e9 and coraz\u00f3n international.
