Making movies without making a mess\u2028 is possible, as Emellie O\u2018Brien, CEO and Founder of New York-based company <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2015\/02\/06\/the-girl-with-the-green-hand\/\">Earth Angel<\/a> will address in a keynote.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Sustainability on set is paying off as various examples are proving. The German Berlin\u00a0Competition film <em>3 Tage in Quiberon<\/em> by Emily Atef was awarded a <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2013\/02\/01\/a-necessity-not-a-nicety\/\">Green Shooting Card<\/a>. Nevina Satta, CEO of the film fund, will give an insight in the sustainability strategy at Sardinia. Producer Marta Donzelli from Rome-based Vivo Film who already produced the award-winning film <em>Quattro Volte<\/em> in an environmental-friendly, will point ot which green actions were taken during the production of <em>Figlia Mia.<\/em> For the first time, European broadcaster Sky decided to produce sustainably the series <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2017\/03\/22\/energy-is-the-key\/\"><em>Acht Tage<\/em> <\/a>that was partly shot in Berlin. One panel discussion will be dedicated to waste management, recycling, and life cycle assessment. Under the motto &#8216;Don\u2018t waste the waste&#8217; Adrian Wootton, CEO, <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2016\/03\/23\/film-london-teams-up-with-greenshoot\/\">Film London<\/a>, French <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2017\/02\/15\/lets-green-it-in-post\/\">Ecoprod<\/a> Adviser Joanna Gallardo and Tim Wagendorp, Sustainability Coordinator, <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2014\/02\/05\/an-important-incentive\/\">Flanders Audiovisual Fund<\/a> in Belgium will give insights into the best practices of waste management in their countries. They are also part of the European Green Screen project that plans to standardize environmental practices so that sustainable production measures for film and TV may be adopted across Europe.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The discussion will be moderated by Birgit Heidsiek, Publisher of <em><a href=\"https:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/\">Green Film Shooting<\/a>.<\/em>\u00a0 <em>Sustainability on Set <\/em>will take place on February 17, 2018, 2.30 &#8211; 4pm at \u2028Landesvertretung der Freien und Hansestadt Hamburg beim Bund in Berlin.
