Moderated by Birgit Heidsiek, Publisher of <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/about-us\/\">Green Film Shooting<\/a>, the event takes place in cooperation with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.engagement-global.de\/\">Engagement Global<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bmz.de\/en\/\">Federal Ministry of Economic Cooperation and Development<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Green film production is not an expensive luxury. A careful management of precious resources is a win-win-situation for the budget and the environment. Therefore, various regional funds in Europe are offering\u00a0 additional financing support if productions decide to go green. The best practices and tools are available. Now it is up to producers to implement them into film production.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Italian producer Marta Donzelli will give an insight into the sustainably-produced <a href=\"https:\/\/www.berlinale.de\/en\/presse\/pressemitteilungen\/wettbewerb\/wettbewerb-presse-detail_42070.html\">Berlinale Competition<\/a> title<em> Daughter of Mine<\/em> by Laura Bispuri, a former Berlinale Co-Production Markt project, that was shot in Sardinia. Emellie O\u2019Brien is going to explain how the carbon footprint of big Hollywood productions such as <em><a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2015\/02\/09\/the-green-side-of-spider-man\/\">The Amazing-Spider Man 2<\/a>,<a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2015\/01\/23\/noahs-concept-of-sustainability\/\">\u00a0<\/a><\/em>\u00a0<em><a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2015\/01\/23\/noahs-concept-of-sustainability\/\">Noah<\/a><\/em> and<em> The Post <\/em>can be reduced. In Germany, Director\/Producer Lars Jessen is a pioneer of green film and TV production.
