They are planning to develop in cooperation with the industry partners a common strategy which will bring forward the envoronmentally friendly production.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Since there has not been a high demand for environmental friendly solutions for film and TV productions, the service providers have to come up with new innovative solutions for productions in the first place.\u00a0 This will affect in particular areas such as automobiles, generators, light and energy as well as post production and set decoration.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The use of more environmentally compatible equipment is being undertaken by service providers in a formal review process. The Association of German Service Providers for the Audiovisual Industry (VTFF) is planning, together with producers, to test more environmentally-friendly techniques as well as to explore opportunities to finance and obtain funding for these outlays.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u201eFrom new generators and LED lighting to natural gas-powered trucks, this equipment can\u2018t be financed solely by the service providers\u201c, says Achim Rohnke, Chairman of the VFTT. \u201eBased on the know-how that we\u2019ve acquired, we now want to develop a common strategy in the industry.\u201c<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><em>Photo: \u00a9 Bavaria Film<\/em><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"The Association of German Service Providers for the Audiovisual Industry (VTFF) wants to support a sustainable film and TV production.
