At the panel discussion <a href=\"http:\/\/www.finnishfilmaffair.fi\/ffa\/ffa-2019\/\">Sustainability in Filmmakin<\/a>g, that takes place at the Industry Sessions of the<a href=\"http:\/\/www.finnishfilmaffair.fi\"> Finnish Film Affair<\/a> in Helsinki, Sustainability Coordinator Kaisa Astikainen and Television Freelancer Anne Puolanne will launch \u201cEkosetti\u201d, which is a Green Production Guide in Finnish language. Structured by various topics, the 20-page booklet covers all the measures that can be taken in the different departments to produce films more environmental-friendly.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Kaisa Astikainen worked as a sustainability coordinator with the production company Bufo and led the Sustainability in Filmmaking seed funding project at <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aalto.fi\/en\/study-at-aalto\">Aalto University<\/a>, while Anne Puolanne, is working as a writer as well as in the production department in the TV industry. They will discuss with Timo Argillander, Managing Partner and Co-Founder of the venture capital investor<a href=\"http:\/\/ipr.vc\/\"> IPR.VC<\/a>, why it\u2019s overall a smart business move to go green. Moderated by Anni Wessman, Audiovisual Producers Finland \u2014 <a href=\"https:\/\/apfi.fi\">APFI<\/a>, the panel discussion will be held in Finnish.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The theme of sustainable production was introduced to the Finnish film industry by the <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2018\/11\/02\/green-production-seminar-in-helsinki\/\">Green Production Seminar<\/a> that took place in Helsinki in the fall of 2018. Managed by<a href=\"https:\/\/www.creativeexport.fi\/\"> Creative Export Innovation<\/a>s in collaboration with the <a href=\"https:\/\/ses.fi\/en\/\">Finnish Film Foundation<\/a>,<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lapland.fi\/film\/\"> Finnish Lapland Film Commissio<\/a>n, the event gave an insight into the best practices of green film production.
