The program is going to feature over 170 films from 58 countries. The festival presents many filmmakers whose works aim to raise the public\u2019s awareness of the need to protect the environment. For the first time, the Zurich Film Festival is hosting an industry event on sustainable film production. Moderated by <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/de\/ueber-uns\/\">Green Film Shooting<\/a> Publisher Birgit Heidsiek, the speakers of the panel discussion <a href=\"https:\/\/zff.com\/en\/industry\/events-conferences\/zff-talks\/\">Action For Climate On Set<\/a> include Frauke Kolbm\u00fcller, Co-producer and Production Manager of German Oscar contender <em><a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2019\/02\/16\/silver-bear-for-system-crasher\/\">System Crasher, <\/a><\/em>which received a <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2018\/05\/26\/five-years-green-cooperation\/\">Green Shooting Card<\/a>. Jessica Hefti, Production Manager at Zodiac Pictures, will talk about their plans to go green with the Swiss crime series <em>Tatort.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The Zurich Film Festival kicks off with the feature film <em>Bruno Manser \u2013 Die Stimme des Regenwaldes<\/em> by Niklaus Hilber, starring Sven Schelker in the title role as the Basel-born environmental activist.<\/p>\n<iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/kO21fIdOBhE\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen=\"allowfullscreen\"><\/iframe>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Environment and climate protection is also an issue in several documentaries.
