At <em>The Green Framework<\/em> panel, participants will discuss the general framework of environmentally-friendly film production and compare different approaches in order to determine what serves the environment best.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>In this context, it is crucial not only to talk about costs but also what works best for co-productions. Speakers of\u00a0<em> The Green Framework<\/em> discussion include Peter Dinges, Chairman of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ffa.de\/index.php?id=170\">German Federal Film Board<\/a> (FFA), Lucia Recalde, Head of Unit, <a href=\"https:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/digital-single-market\/en\/policies\/media-programme\">Creative Europe MEDIA<\/a>, Helge Albers, CEO <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2019\/02\/09\/stay-grounded\/\">Filmf\u00f6rderung Hamburg Schleswig-Holstein<\/a> (FFHSH), Nevina Satta, CEO <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2019\/03\/01\/green-production-power\/\">Sardegna Film Commission<\/a> and Board Member CineRegio as well as John Gormley, former Minister for the Environment in Ireland and Chairperson <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2019\/10\/04\/sustainability-policy-in-ireland\/\">Screen Producers Ireland<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>At the<em> Sustainability at Work panel, <\/em>producers will discuss the obstacles that make green production more difficult. Furthermore, it will be explored which green actions have already been taken beyond the implementation of reusable bottles, coffee cups, car sharing, and compliance with waste management regulations. The participants of the discussion include Karsten St\u00f6ter, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.produzentenverband.de\/green\">German Film Producers Association<\/a>, Latvian Producer Antra Cilinska from <a href=\"http:\/\/www.jps.lv\/\">Jura Podnieka Studija<\/a> in Riga, Michael Imboden from Swiss production company <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trilunafilm.ch\/index.html\">Triluna Film<\/a> as Emellie O&#8217;Brien, CEO of New York-based eco consultant company <a href=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/en\/2019\/10\/12\/set-in-new-york\/\">Earth Angel<\/a> as well as Niels Maier, Gaffer and CEO of the Cologne-based film equipment rental house <a href=\"http:\/\/maierbros.de\/?lang=en\">Maier Bros<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The closing speech will be given by Dr. Ulf Jaeckel, Head of Division, Sustainable Consumer Protection Policy, Product-Related Environmental Protection at BMU.
