Today, it\u2019s a reality. The new German film law <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ffa.de\/film-levy.html\">(FFG<\/a>) requires effective measures that are in compliance with ecological sustainability. And in France, the National Center for Film and Moving Images (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnc.fr\">CNC<\/a>) developed an ambitious action plan to foster the film industry\u2019s transition to ecological sustainability.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The potential for innovation in the film and media industry is enormous. New solutions for energy supplies are being required on set. Hybrid solutions are gaining ground. Renewables for hybrid solutions are being produced by photovoltaic systems that equipment rental houses have installed on the rooftops of their premises. But transportation and mobility are also opening new avenues for slowing down.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Digitization is making it possible to recreate settings in a mixed reality studio or even to shoot scenes in far-away countries without actually having to travel there. Thanks to digital tracking, costumes and props are being reused. Cinemas are welcoming the circular economy\u2019s approach.
