The three-day event that takes places from October 18 to 20, 2024 in Palma de Mallorca, brings together industry and sustainability experts from all across Europe.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Among the topics on the agenda are training, the use of eco-friendly equipment in film production as well as green guidelines, which have already been successfully implemented in different regions in Europe. A key role plays the financing of green measures. Energy and resource effiziency as well as circular economy are relevant in the film and media production. The community cinema is already powered with renewable energy since many years. The international documentary film festival, that takes place in the congress center in Navarre, also works on the decrease of its carbon footprint.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-9193 alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/de\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/10\/tec-259x300.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"234\" height=\"271\" \/>An insight in innovative solutions which are particularly developed for the film and TV industry, will be given by Mike Zimmermann, managing director of <a href=\"https:\/\/lichthaus.net\/\">Lichthaus<\/a>, that also successfully hosted the first <a href=\"https:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/de\/2023\/01\/17\/berlinale-vtff-laedt-zum-green-tec-day\/\">Green Tec Day <\/a>during the Berlin International Film Festival in 2023. An innovative solution for set designers developed Tom Henderson with his British company <a href=\"https:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/de\/2023\/02\/07\/nachhaltiger-setbau\/\">Vectar Project<\/a>. As a producer at <a href=\"http:\/\/calista-films.com\/\">Calista Films<\/a>, she pioneers the creation of narratives that inspire a more sustainable and desirable future.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Different aproaches, systems and certifications for sustainable film productions will be discussed by Luca Ferrario, project manager of the<a href=\"https:\/\/greenfilmshooting.net\/blog\/de\/2017\/03\/27\/ein-verlockendes-angebot\/\"> Trentino Film Commission<\/a>, and Christiane Scholz from the <a href=\"https:\/\/moin-filmfoerderung.de\/film-commission\">MOIN Film Commission<\/a> in Hamburg, which introduced the Green Shooting Card as the first green label for film production in 2012.
