European Cinema & Audiovisual Days 2015

The Sardegna Film Commission is hosting the European Cinema & Audiovisual Days 2015 that takes place on February 26 at Cagliari. At the four-day-event on the Italian Island, film professionals and representatives from international institutions will discuss green production approaches and what kind of challenges the sustainable production requires for creative industries.

 

The role of public institutions in support of green practices is also an issue as well as green shooting at regional or national level or the role of festivals. Among the more than 40 speakers are Ecoprod Coordinator Joanna Gallardo, Solar Cinema Founder Maureen Prins, Siebe Dumon, Head of Training and Research at the Flanders Audiovisual Fund, Renée van der Grinten from the Netherlands Film Fund but also several Sardinian filmmakers such as Peter Marcias or Paolo Zucca.

 

32_240_20130809130425At the European Cinema & Audiovisual Days 2015, Nevina Satta, CEO of the Sardegna Film Commision, also puts subjects such as new agriculture on the agenda. The international conference is supported by the European Union and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism in Italy.
