Film competition on climate change

In view of the Climate Change Conference (COP21) which is organized by the United Nations in France in December 2015, the 11th edition of  the Mobile Film Festival will focus on Climate Change. The festival is inviting filmmakers from Europe and all over the world to create and share their vision regarding climate change and sustainable development. The mobile films have to be submitted to the festival by September 28, 2015. For further details please check the terms and conditions.

 

The rule remains the same : “1 Mobile, 1 Minute, 1 Film”, but for the first time the festival organizers are imposing a theme: Act on Climate Change. Filmmakers will be able to shoot in their language and then subtitle their short film in all languages and all alphabets thanks to Dotsub, the technical partner of the Mobile Film Festival.

 

The best contributions will be decorated with awards. The Grand Prize for the best film includes a grant of € 30,000 from the French bank BNP Paribas. The prize money gives the winner the opportunity to produce of a short film within a year with the support of an experienced producer. Further awards will be given out for best script, actor and actress. In addition, there will be a Special Jury Award as well as an Audience Award for the most popular movie. The Awards ceremony of the Mobile Film Festival will take place on December 7, 2015 in Paris.
