Kids on the front lines of climate change

“We are horrified and saddened by the recent events in Paris”, states Canadian filmmaker Slater Jewell-Kemker. “We feel that now, more than ever, we need to stand together and move forward into a caring, just sustainable world. This includes discovering and hopefully influencing the outcome of the UN Climate Change Conference, COP21 to be held in Paris at the end of this month.”

The 23 year old filmmaker is filming since almost 8 years the Global Youth Climate Movement and kids on the front lines of climate change. Her feature documentary An Inconvenient Youth that was shot in 8 countries with 200 hours of footage will premier next year.
