Ecoprod and Green Film Shooting have been raising awareness and providing information on green film production for almost a decade. These efforts are pay- ing off because green film and media initiatives are springing up throughout Europe as well as in other parts of the world.
In different regions and countries, there are various opportunities to obtain green training. The broad range of approaches includes green film production workshops and seminars, green consultant training on the set as well as in film schools.
A new wave of eco managers, green consultants, and sustainability experts have been sallying forth to produce environmentally friendly films. But does the practical work meet our expectations or is it lost in green production? We want to discuss the opportunities as well as the obstacles we are facing, as well as how to manage and overcome them. And, of course, we want to discuss what we can learn from these different approaches. Going green is not a competition but a common mission. Let’s work on it together!
