Call for films on climate change

Two weeks are left to send contributions on climate change to the Mobile Film Festival which will take place as an official COP21 event in Paris in December. Brazilian filmmaker Fernando Meirelles who is part of the international jury of the Mobile Film Festival invites all filmmakers to participate with a one minute film in order to act on climate change.

 

 

Filmmakers will be able to shoot in their language and then subtitle their short film in all languages and all alphabets thanks to Dotsub, the technical partner of the Mobile Film Festival. The best contributions will be decorated with awards. The Grand Prize for the best film includes a grant of € 30,000 from the French bank BNP Paribas. Further awards will be given out for best script, actor and actress. In addition, there will be a Special Jury Award as well as an Audience Award for the most popular movie. The Awards ceremony of the Mobile Film Festival will take place on December 7, 2015 in Paris.
