Green Film Shooting is among the candidates on the shortlist for the 2020 makers & shakers Sustainability Award, which is given out by The Location Guide, makers magazine and FOCUS. The sustainability award will honor a campaign or initiative that aims to significantly reduce the carbon footprint of productions while enhancing the production process and maximizing the screen value. Among the applicant for the sustainability award are production companies, producer, production service companies, set designers, a studio, as well as organizations such as film commissions.
The selection of the winner is decided by jurors, which include representatives from Netflix, Warner Bros. Studios Leavesden, ACNE, Orca Studios and OLFFI. The entries were chosen based on its innovation and creativity as well as its overall impact. The winners of the makers & shakers Awards will be revealed during our virtual ceremony on December 14th hosted by FOCUS 2020, a meeting place for international production. The event will be hosted by British comedian Jen Brister who performed stand up in clubs until she started to present a number of different shows at BBC.
